IS-BAH Stage 3 certification: Significant award for handling in Bratislava

Ground Handling of ABS Jets at the M.R. Štefánik Airport in Bratislava has now become one of the few companies in Europe that have successfully met all the conditions set by International Business Aviation (IBAC) and received the IS-BAH (International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling) certification ) Stage 3, which is the highest possible level.

S-BAH (International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling) is a globally recognized standard focused on safety, service quality and efficiency in the field of aircraft handling in the "business jet" category. Stage 3 represents the highest level of certification, which confirms a strong commitment to continuous improvement, implementation of safety standards and effective risk prevention. Obtaining this certification is preceded by demanding preparations, which are verified by an approving audit.

"This is a significant step for our Ground Handling in Bratislava and we are reaching the level of leading European and world leaders in this area, which increases our competitiveness," says FBO Manager Vladimír Nedělka. "Prague Ground Handling already received the IS-BAH stage 3 certification in the past, so it was only a matter of time before the Bratislava base would also be able to reach this highest level of service quality," he adds.

This successfully achieved goal guarantees clients that the aircraft and crews of the given company are serviced according to the highest safety and quality standards. At the same time, standardized and optimized processes have been proven to lead to smoother operations. Continuous improvement of safety processes will reduce risks, which has a positive impact not only on aircraft safety, but also on client confidence.
